Review of Women’s Essence Tee/

\r\n\r\nI never read the manufacturer’s information before I review a product because I want to have my own experience with it and not be influenced by marketing.\r\n\r\nSo, I love when what I write about a product actually matches what the manufacturer says about it. Makes me feel like we’re all honest and up front.\r\n\r\nHaving said that, now I’ll tell you why I like OR’s Women’s Essence Tee. I’m a big fan of natural fabrics; they just feel best against my skin. The Essence Tee feels like cotton and wicks like wool or a performance fabric. Before I looked at the label, I assumed that it was a cotton/wool blend. But it’s not; it’s made out of a wool (12%)/poly (88%) blend called Dri-releaseĀ®.\r\n\r\n…\r\n\r\nSo far for fall’s breezy days, all I wear is this top and a wind jacket, and I’ve been very comfortable on many power walks.\r\n\r\nSizes: XS-XL (also available in a two-tone style, as well as in men’s sizes – as the Sequence top)\r\n\r\nEco Creds: contains merino wool, a sustainable resource.\r\n\r\nBottom Line: A great all-around top for exercising, outdoor activities, and travel. And a great price compared to pure merino tops.–E.D. (Oct 09)\r\n\r\nClick here for original article

Some buddies and I had been planning to find the remains of a wilderness cabin that a friend’s grandfather helped build in 1946. The weather forecast was mixed, so I needed to have a flexible wardrobe, and the beginning of a flexible wardrobe is a versatile base layer. I got my Sequence Duo Tee from Outdoor Research the day before our trip, and knew it would be the shirt to wear.
